Job Title: Front Desk Team Member – Rock Revolution

Compensation: Based on experience

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time (flexible scheduling available)

About Us: Rock Revolution is a brand new climbing gym opening this summer in Charlottesville, VA. We’re building an inclusive, energized, and community-driven space for climbers of all levels. As we prepare to open our doors, we’re hiring for multiple roles, including front desk, route setting, and coaching positions, and looking for friendly, reliable team members to help bring the gym to life.

Position Overview: As a Front Desk Team Member, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members and guests. This role is perfect for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about climbing, fitness, or customer service. You’ll be part of a close-knit team responsible for daily operations and helping cultivate the vibrant, supportive atmosphere Rock Revolution is all about.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in members and visitors with enthusiasm and professionalism

  • Answer questions about gym services, memberships, and programming

  • Process sales for memberships, day passes, gear rentals, and retail items

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and common areas

  • Monitor gym safety and follow standard operating procedures

  • Assist with events, classes, and community engagement as needed

  • Support other staff and instructors to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer and POS system experience (training provided)

  • Interest in climbing, yoga, or fitness is a plus, but not required

  • Evening and weekend availability preferred.
